Home Compare vs Hostinger

HostingSimple vs Hostinger.

$15/mo billed monthly. No 4-year handshake.

Hostinger's $2.99 sticker only exists if you prepay 48 months upfront — that's $480 committed to one shared box. We're $15/mo billed monthly, cancel any time, no prepay tricks. Here's what the monthly model actually buys you.

The honest version

When Hostinger is genuinely
the right pick.

We want you on the right host — even if that's not us. This is when we'd tell you to stay.

In Hostinger's
favour

Hostinger is honestly excellent at what it does: cheap, fast-enough, reliable-enough WordPress hosting for hobby sites and small businesses. If you've prepaid four years and your traffic is under 50k/mo, you got a genuinely good deal. The case for moving is mostly about whether you've outgrown 'cheap and fast-enough.'

What the price difference buys

Yes, we cost a little more.
Here's exactly what's included for it.

+$4.01/mo more than Hostinger at renewal. About $0.13 a day. Here's what gets bundled into our $15 that Hostinger either gates to a higher tier, sells as an add-on, or simply doesn't offer.

  • Same renewal price No 4× jump at year 5. $15 stays $15 — forever.

Hostinger Premium at $2.99 prepay-48-months is the cheapest WP starting point on the internet. If you've already prepaid and your site is small, stay — we will never be cheaper at year one. The case for us is the next site, or the first time Hostinger throttles.

Hostinger Business at $14.99 renewal looks comparable to us on paper, but 'site' means sharing a node with 100 other tenants. At 80k visits you'll either be silently throttled or pushed to Cloud Startup ($29.99). WP Pro is $30, sized to ~250k visits/mo, and we talk to you before anything is limited.

The 48-month prepayment dynamic gets ugly at agency scale: $480 upfront for one shared box. Our agency plans bill monthly, on an instance nobody else is on, white-label portal included. The flexibility is worth more than the year-one savings, every time.
When to stay put

Don't switch from Hostinger
if any of these are true.

We'd rather lose a sale than recommend a bad move. If one of these describes you, save your migration energy for a better moment.

Reason 01 · Stay

You're 8 months into a 48-month prepay.

You can't refund the unused portion. The savings only start after year 5 — finish the prepayment.

Reason 02 · Stay

You're hosting hobby projects under 10k visits/mo.

Hostinger is a genuinely fine choice for this. Save your migration energy for when the workload demands it.

Reason 03 · Stay

Your team only knows Hostinger's hPanel.

DirectAdmin is similar but not identical. If your team is barely-technical, factor the retraining time into the move.

Migrating from Hostinger

Pre-migration questions,
answered by an engineer.

Real questions we get during pre-sales calls — answered the way we'd answer them on chat.

Can I get a refund on my unused Hostinger prepay?

Within the first 30 days, yes. After that, generally no — they only refund the unused portion for specific cases. Check their refund policy before you commit to switching.

My Hostinger sites use LiteSpeed Cache plugin — does that work on you?

We replace LiteSpeed with our Redis + Varnish + edge stack. The LSCache plugin can stay (it'll no-op cleanly); we configure the equivalents at the server layer.

What about the free email Hostinger included?

We can host email; for serious use we recommend Google Workspace or Fastmail. We'll migrate inboxes during the move at no charge.

Is it true Hostinger's 100-site plan is 'real'?

It's real in the sense that you can install 100 WordPress sites. It's not real in the sense that running 100 active sites with traffic on one shared CPU performs well. The cap is sites; the throttle is on resources.

Move off Hostinger. We do the heavy lifting.

Send us your Hostinger credentials. A human engineer migrates your site within 24 hours, with zero downtime. Free, every time.
